Welcome
Thank you for visiting our web site. We count it a privilege to be able to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and
the people of Mifflin County. I hope that as you peruse our web site you
might be informed, excited, and encouraged to come and worship with us. Our
church is not a perfect church but we truly strive to lift up and honor our
Father in heaven for all that He has done for us. The Lord has blessed us
for over 50 years and we look forward to what He has for us to do in the
future. Won’t you join us?
Our first desire is to obey our Lord’s command. He said, “All authority has been given to Me
in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age.” His “Great Commission” is our mission.
We have many faithful volunteers to accomplish the task assigned to us by
Jesus. We support over 30 missionaries/mission’s organizations around the
world
and encourage each of our members to be missionaries to their
neighbors across the street.
Our second desire
is to fulfill the “Great Commandment.” Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God
with all you heart…soul…and mind. This is the first and greatest
commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All
the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
This web site can
only paint part of the picture. Our people make our ministry! Our prayer is
that this web site will pique your curiosity enough to come and be our guest
for one of our services. Please allow us the privilege of showing you some
warm “Pennsylvania Dutch” hospitality.
Because of Christ--

Announcements
On Sunday, November 23rd, we will be receiving our fall special offering. Sacrificial Sunday is a day where we receive a special offering for a special project. This offering is intended to be above our regular offerings. This year we have a goal of $25,000 and designated it as follows:
$10,000 for normal operating expenses; $500 for the Deacon fund; and the remaining balance to be used toward replacing the playground area which was overtaken by the construction work. Please pray and give as the Lord leads you.
